DRW Holdings uses a combination of voluntary carbon offsets and the government regulated compliance carbon market to achieve its net-zero goal. You may learn more about the voluntary carbon offsets used by the firm here.
Section 44475.2
DRW Holdings works with Climate Vault to achieve carbon neutrality. DRW employs an accrual and true-up methodology with Climate Vault to estimate and measure DRW’s carbon emissions. Every calendar year, DRW’s operational emissions and emissions related to BTC are assessed. DRW currently measures the emissions outlined in the table below.
The business entities selling the offset and the offset registry or program include California’s Cap-and-Trade Program, administered by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), administered by RGGI, Inc. Procurement of the voluntary carbon offsets and compliance carbon allowances is facilitated by affiliates of DRW Holdings and Climate Vault.
